Mara Shane was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up her inspirations were 80s and 90s Pop Art and music idols such as Madonna, Prince and David Bowie. She captures not only the timelessness of that Era, but also modernizes it with a very stylized LA meets Las Vegas vibe!

Mara Shane’s pieces are a multi-layered mixed media approach that combines traditional acrylic painting techniques, layered with digital manipulation and modern printing methods, resulting in a unique fusion of analog and digital artistry.

She is locally known and quickly growing to be nationally known for her unique illustrative portraits with an abstract edge.
